If you have been following me for a while, you know I’m obsessed with Etsy.com. There are the most unique and beautiful handmade and vintage things on there.
While exploring the shops one night I came across this shop called Midnight Blue Jewels. Emma, the shop owner, is a twenty four year old student who started making jewelry mainly as a way of amusing herself and the hobby grew into a passion. I saw these “print” necklaces that she makes from animal or people prints and had to have one!
Once you contact her she sends you an ink-less print kit and you follow the instructions to get the print you want. You can either snail-mail the print back or scan it and email it to her. Unfortunately, my scanner was not cooperating at the time and I had to snail-mail it.The whole process didn’t take to long at all considering she lives in London! I was so pleased with the final product! It is such a special necklace for me! This would be such a great gift for an animal lover or a new mother…or just for yourself! The ink-less kit she sends is the same kind of kit that hospitals use for newborns so it is safe to use!
Emma was such a pleasure to do business with as well! I highly recommend this shop!
